Ulster Transport Museum – General Admission
Journey through time and discover the epic story of transport and social change in this part of the world. Be inspired by big machines and big ideas from the engineering giants of this small country, whose pioneering inventions across land, sea and sky have shaped our modern world. Over two gallery buildings, get up close to all major types of transport from the mid-19th century to the late 20th century including the iconic DeLorean, relive the Titanic story and discover the men and women who pushed boundaries in their field in the ‘Museum of Innovation’.
We offer a Green Ticket option to visitors travelling to our museum via public transport, simply choose a green ticket and show your valid public transport ticket on arrival to the museum (dated same date as your visit) to avail of a 20% admissions discount.
During the month of July and August 2025 visitors booking General Admissions tickets can avail of a 50% discount offer on their next visit (within 3 months) so you can 'explore more' of our museums and collections.
How can I get the discount code?

Your original booking reference will turn into a unique discount code on the Monday evening AFTER you redeem your tickets.

Simply enter the code at checkout online, or quote on arrival to the museum on your next visit where our Front of House team can process the discount.

Ticket purchases
We ask for an optional 10% donation towards our charitable work when you buy your ticket.
You can make your donation go further by ticking the Gift Aid box when completing your purchase. National museums NI will be able to claim an extra 25% of the value of your ticket from HM Revenue and Customs at no extra cost to you.
