Join us for a self-guided tour: See inside this treasure trove of automotive, aeronautic and industrial collections that highlight the social, industrial, and sporting history of this part of the world.
Explore these collections through a self-guided tour. Highlights include Rex McCandless' innovations, historic bicycles, motorbikes, boats and planes (notably the rare Shorts Sealand). This is an opportunity to see inside a working museum store, quite unlike our conventional public galleries but equally fascinating!
Daytime Tours

Evening Tours
- 28th May - 18:30 to 19:30

- The Transport Collection Stores are on Heron Road - not at the Ulster Transport Museum itself
- This is not a guided tour and instead is an opportunity to see inside and wander around collections that are rarely seen by the public
- All children must be accompanied by an adult
- No food and drink allowed due to the nature of the space
- There are bathrooms available on-site, however, no baby changing
