Autumn Foraging at the Ulster Folk Museum
Join foraging and food expert Clare McQuillan for a foraging walk around the beautiful Autumn surroundings of the rural landscape of the Ulster Folk Museum and discover a treasure of edible surprises.
Clare will equip you with the tools of how to identify a range of plants, trees and fruits and as you go round you will also learn of how wild plants had their place in the homes of those in Ulster's history. The walk will be followed by a lunch inspired by seasonal foraged ingredients.
Please note:
- This event is suitable for ages 16+.
- Tickets include general admission to the Ulster Folk Museum
- This is an outside, slow-paced walking event that will take place rain or shine so please wear suitable clothes and footwear.
- The lunch menu will be suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Unfortunately, other dietary requirements cannot be catered for due to the presence of allergens.
