The Ulster Folk Museum Library and Archives are a largely unknown treasure trove for the curious, with a seemingly unending amount to explore! Join us for a special tour from Library & Archives Manager, Donal McAnallen, and discover beautiful books, manuscripts, maps, diaries, illustrations and first-hand recorded accounts from our around archives. Expect to see archives related to every topic you can image from Ulster’s past – music, folklore, nature, art, industry, agriculture and ways of life long gone.
- This tour is suitable for ages 16 and over.
- Your ticket includes admission to the Folk Museum for the day.

National Museums NI is a charity that cares for the Northern Ireland Collection.
Ticket purchases
We ask for an optional 10% donation towards our charitable work when you buy your ticket.
You can make your donation go further by ticking the Gift Aid box when completing your purchase. National museums NI will be able to claim an extra 25% of the value of your ticket from HM Revenue and Customs at no extra cost to you.
Membership purchases
At no extra cost to you, saying 'yes' to Gift Aid means that we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 of your membership price from HM Revenue and Customs
