European Heritage Open Day: Access to Transport and Industry Stores

Explore these collections as part of European Open Day through a self-guided tour. Highlights include Rex McCandless' innovations, historic bicycles, motorbikes, boats and planes (notably the rare Shorts Sealand). This is an opportunity to see inside a working museum store, quite unlike our conventional public galleries but equally fascinating!
Please Note:
- The store is not located at Ulster Transport Museum. It is a short distance away. The address will be sent through to you in advance of your visit. This will be the meeting point for the tour.
- It is anticipated that tours will last 30 minutes to 1 hour. Booking is essential.
- The site is fully accessible.
- Last entry is at 15:00
- This is not a guided tour, and instead is an opportunity to see inside and wander around collections that are rarely seen by the public.
- All children must be accompanied by an adult
- No food and drink allowed due to nature of the space
- There are bathrooms available on-site, however, no baby-changing.
