Evening Lecture: Earthworms & the New Zealand Flatworm
Discover the weird world of worms at the Ulster Museum!
We're hosting an evening lecture all about worms on Wednesday 19th November in the Ulster Museum Lecture Theatre with talks from three experts;
- Doors open at 18:30. Please enter through the Stranmillis entrance.
- 19:00 to 19:30 - The Weird World of Worms by Emma Sherlock
- 19:30 to 20:00 - Meet Northern Ireland’s Earthworms by Keiron Derek Brown
- 20:00 to 20:30 - Coffee & tea break, network and chat in the foyer.
- 20:30 to 21:00 - The New Zealand Flatworm by Archie Murchie
- 21:00 to 21:30 - Time to chat before the event ends at 21:30!
This evening lecture is for anyone interested in earthworms, and learning more about the invasion of the New Zealand Flatworm. All welcome!
Important information
- Doors open 6:30pm: Arrival via Stranmillis Road entrance, make way to Belfast Room via Stranmillis Foyer
- Talks take place from 7pm to 9pm with a short time afterwards to network and chat
- Event close at 9:00pm
- Ticket is £5 per peson
- Event is strictly 18 years+ only
- This event is ran by Centre for Environmental Data and Recording (CEDaR), and in partnership with Biological Recording Company (BRC)
