Winter Foraging at Ulster Folk Museum

Join foraging and food expert Clare McQuillan for a Winter foraging walk on Sunday 15th November around the beautiful rural surroundings of the Ulster Folk Museum. 

Discover a treasure of edible surprises, as Clare shows you how to identify a range of plants, trees and fruits. You'll also learn the role wild plants played in rural Ulster peoples' homes. The walk will be followed by a lunch inspired by seasonal foraged ingredients.

Please note:

  • This event is suitable for ages 16+.
  • Tickets include general admission to the Ulster Folk Museum
  • This is an outside, slow-paced walking event that will take place rain or shine so please wear suitable clothes and footwear.
  • The lunch menu will be suitable for vegans and vegetarians. Unfortunately, other dietary requirements cannot be catered for due to the presence of allergens.

Ticket purchases

We ask for an optional 10% donation towards our charitable work when you buy your ticket.   

You can make your donation go further by ticking the Gift Aid box when completing your purchase.  National museums NI will be able to claim an extra 25% of the value of your ticket from HM Revenue and Customs at no extra cost to you.
