The grounds of the Ulster Folk Museum are a haven for nature!  From the untamed woodlands and flowing streams to the hedgerows, verges, and the green boundaries between our historic buildings, a diverse array of plants, animals, and insects call this place home.

During Nature Day, you’ll have the chance to explore these rich natural spaces and connect with the passionate people involved in growing, conservation, and scientific research at the Ulster Folk Museum. With a variety of hands-on activities, guided walks, and experiences tailored for all ages and interests, there’s something for everyone.

National Museums NI is a charity that cares for the Northern Ireland Collection. 

 

Ticket purchases

We ask for an optional 10% donation towards our charitable work when you buy your ticket.   

You can make your donation go further by ticking the Gift Aid box when completing your purchase.  National museums NI will be able to claim an extra 25% of the value of your ticket from HM Revenue and Customs at no extra cost to you.

 

Membership purchases

At no extra cost to you, saying 'yes' to Gift Aid means that we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 of your membership price from HM Revenue and Customs
