Riverflies Identification Training Course
This 2-day CEDaR training course offers a demonstration of fieldwork techniques, and hands‑on experience using microscopes to examine key anatomical features of riverflies to allow identification to genus level.
Attendees will collect and preserve specimens for identification and our tutors will demonstrate best-practices for curation of a reference collection. Please note that this course will focus on examination of preserved riverflies, a necessity to allow careful examination of their key anatomical features.

Weather appropriate clothing is essential.
Attendees should bring their own packed lunch each day.
Teas and coffees will be provided.
This is a two day course taking place on 6th & 7th May, starting at 10am each day and finishing at 4pm each day.
