Basket Making Workshop
At the Folk Museum, we have a fantastic team of in-house skilled craftspeople who keep our heritage skills and traditions alive for future generations. Spend the entire day with one of our expert demonstrators, and make something to bring home with you!
Bob will show you around the Weaving Shed and explain traditional weaving skills. Then you'll make a trug style garden basked to bring home in this hands-on experience.
Suitable for beginners!
Please note, this is a full day experience from 10:00 to 16:00 and lunch is included. Please let us know if you have any dietary requirements by getting in touch at info@nationalmuseumsni.org.

Ticket purchases
We ask for an optional 10% donation towards our charitable work when you buy your ticket.
You can make your donation go further by ticking the Gift Aid box when completing your purchase. National museums NI will be able to claim an extra 25% of the value of your ticket from HM Revenue and Customs at no extra cost to you.
Membership purchases
At no extra cost to you, saying 'yes' to Gift Aid means that we can claim an extra 25p for every £1 of your membership price from HM Revenue and Customs
